Abera Justus

Abera D. Justus, 74, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Maple Grove Adult Foster Care in Barton City.    Born December 11, 1943 to Clarence and Omni (Scarberry) Dotson in Hurley, VA, she was raised there.  In 1977 she moved to Michigan.  Abera was a dedicated caregiver and owned and operated Justus Adult Foster Care in Lincoln for many years.  She was a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Harrisville.  Abera loved to walk and enjoyed looking at the flowers and birds.  She loved her grandchildren.    Abera is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Shane) Conner of Lincoln and Missy (Leroy) Hall of Harrisville, seven grandchildren, Amanda (Darrius) Norton, Gabriel (Brittany) Hall, Jamie Hall, Jeffrey and Alex Prater, Leon Prater, and Christon Stiltner, eight great grandchildren, Bennett and Rowen Norton, Delilah and Levi Hall, Justice and Lukas Stiltner, and Robert and Grayson Prater, and two daughters in law, Gail Fraley and Charlotte Prater.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Prater and Jimmy Prater and her brother Johnny Dotson.    Private services have been held.  Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.   To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Abera Justus, please visit our flower store.
