Donald Paradise

Donald Paradise, age 79, of Lincoln passed away on Feburary 26, 2007 at Saginaw St. Mary’s hospital. Born on December 26, 1927 to Fred and Margaret (Kennedy) Paradise, in Detroit, he was raised there. Donald served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1948. In 1952 he and Nancy were married. They moved to Black River in 1968 and to Lincoln in 1976. Donald was employed as an office manager with the Michigan Department of Transportation, in Alpena, retiring after 22 years, for many years he operated a bookkeeping and tax service. He was an avid golfer at the Greenbush Golf Club and its Pointers League. He was a member of St. Raphaels Catholic church, Mikado. Donald is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Lee of White Lake, Michigan, sons, Terry of San Diego, California, and David, of Lincoln, a brother, William, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and two grandchildren, Ty Travis and Adam Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife on January 17, 1997, and his sister, Joann Baxendale. Private memorial services will be held. Cremation arrangements made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
