Sharon Marie (Gillies) Ellis

Sharon (Gillies) Ellis, 56, of Livonia passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Born on May 3, 1950 in Saginaw, to Dick and Ruth (Basselman) Gillies, she was raised in Lincoln. Sharon Graduated from Alcona High School in 1968 and also graduated from Michigan State University. She continued her education at Eastern Michigan and Wayne State Universities. She was a Special Education Teacher with the Northville School District, retiring after 30 years. Survivors include her husband Jon, her parents Dick and Ruth Gillies of Lincoln, her brother Rich (Mary) Gillies of Lincoln, her nieces Sara (Aaron) and Jennifer and her nephews Jeffrey and Jonathan. Sharon is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where friends may call on Monday, February 19; from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Martha Hartman will officiate.
