Charles V. Green

Charles Virgil Green of Oscoda, formerly of Fenton passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 27, at age 56. Charlie was born in Flint, Michigan, was a Vietnam veteran and employed by General Motors for 30 years. He leaves behind wife Deborah, father Virgil, brother Michael (Susie), sister Vickie (Rick); 5 children, Charles Green (Naya), Lisa Green, Michelle Bennett (Scott), Eric Avery (Teresa), and Nick Avery; 3 grandchildren, Logan Avery, Shyanna Loy, and Josh Pyne; and many nieces and nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Juanita and brother Wayne. His passions were his family, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and much more. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 31 from 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation will continue Thursday, February 1st at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Ben Robinson officiating.
