Marvin G. Spahr, 86, of Oscoda died Friday, Dec.1, 2006 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Born January 8, 1920 to Fred and Esther (Stuber) Spahr in St. Michel, Nebraska. He served in the Air Force during WWII and was a postal carrier employed with the US Post Office. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, his daughter, Roxanne Larrabee of Lansing, two stepdaughters, Roberta Ann Montgomery of Los Angeles and Rosalie West of Mikado, one stepson Roy Bolton of Muskegon, seven step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild., and one brother Clayton Spahr of Canoga Park, California. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-9, Wednesday 2-9 and on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral at 2 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
