Barbara Tabben

Barbara A. Tabben, 68, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville. Born December 5, 1941, to Harry and Anna (Johnson) Ward in Romulus MI, she was raised in the Detroit area. She moved to Lincoln in 1983. Barb enjoyed sewing, gardening, and scrapbooking. She was very devoted to her family, and loved taking care of each of them. She is survived by six children; Holly Hussain, Robert (Diane) Bruhnsen, Scott Bruhnsen (John Studzinski), Wendy (Keith) Kauffman, Todd (Kelli) Bruhnsen, and Kelly (Brian) Somers, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two brothers; Gerald (Carol) Ward, and Donald (Nancy) Ward, two daughters-in-law; Sandy Lane and Nancy Bruhnsen, and a sister-in-law; Roxanne Ward, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters; Tahira Hussain and Ashley Kauffman, two brothers; Robert and William Ward, and her parents; Harry and Anna Ward. A Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
