Janice J. Hart

Janice J. Hart, 69, of Harrisville, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw. Born March 5, 1941 to Jerry and Rita (Mousseau) Brooks in Alpena, she was raised there. On February 10, 1962, she married Robert Hart in Tawas, and they were residents of Harrisville. Janice was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Mikado. An avid BINGO player, Janice often played in Mikado, Lincoln, and Oscoda. She also enjoyed camping. Janice is survived by her husband; Robert, eight children; John (Cindy Baker) Colberg, Catherine (Gerald) Thayer, Angelina Hart-Bishop, Timothy (Darlene) Hart, Duane Hart, Lyle (Crystal) Hart, Jared (Cristy) Hart, and Jessica (Tim) Kilgore, 37 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters; Marion Hart of Martin City MT, and Dolores Brooks of Harrisville, her daughter-in-law; Cheryl Colberg, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son; Robert Nelson Hart Jr., on February 21, 2005, by 5 brothers and one sister. Mrs. Hart is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Thursday, November 18 from 4 until 9 pm. Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 19, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Char McGuire will officiate. Burial will be in Mikado Cemetery.
