Violet M. Trumph, 87, of Harrisville, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at her home. Born February 18, 1923, to Edward and Caroline (Moody) Jackson in Detroit, MI, she was raised there. On April 8, 1942, she married Elmer F. Trumph in Detroit. They were residents of the Detroit area before retiring to California, and them moving to Mikado MI in 1986. Elmer preceded her in death on June 3, 2004, and Violet moved to Harrisville to be closer to family. She loved sewing and crafts, and enjoyed a good old fashioned car show, and travelling to casinos. Violet is survived by four children; Thomas Trumph of Mikado, Skip (Heather) Trumph of Harrisville, Steven Trumph of Harrisville, and Beverly Fisher of Harrisville, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one brother; Leo Jackson. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, including her very close sister; Joan Sampson. Private family services have been held. Burial was in St. Raphael Catholic Cemetery, Mikado, Arrangements are in care of Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
