Kevan L. Bennett

Kevan L. Bennett, 51, of Spruce, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at his home. Born on December 8, 1954 in Pontiac, he was raised there. On February 27, 1976 Kevan married Tina James in Waterford, they moved to Spruce in 1987 where he operated a home and lawn care service. He was a former First Responder with the Lincoln group, a member of the National Rifle Association and key man for the Michigan DNR Fire Management Division. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Anita Bennett of Alpena, two sons; Kevan (Stacie) Bennett of Alpena, and Aaron Bennett of Mikado, 6 grandchildren; Devan and Aluxiz Bennett, Kayla, Austin, Myranda, and Mason Paad, his mother, Shirley Bennett of Spruce, and by a brother, James (Sheryl) Bennett of Oscoda. His father, Maynard preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, on Friday, at 1:00 P.M., at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln with Rev.
