Jane M. Miles

Jane M. Miles, 63, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. Born July 4, 1947 to Clifford and Gertrude (McGuire) McDonough in Mikado, she was raised there. On August 27, 1965, she married Charles Miles in Mikado. They lived in Germany, Minnesota and Connecticut before returning to Mikado in 2005. Jane was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Mikado. She was an avid crafter who also enjoyed quilting. She loved the out of doors, including fishing, gardening and flowers. Jane loved her family, and really enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jane is survived by her husband; Charles, daughter; Tina (Adam) Johnson of Aurora MN, one son; Mark (Maureen) Miles of Chaplin, CT, 5 grandchildren; Michelle (Marc) Poirier, Todd and Timothy Bombich, and Kaitlyn and Christopher Miles, one sister; Beatrice (Dennis) Miles of Minnesota, one sister-in-law; Edna McDonough, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister; Norma Joyce Maulvena and her brother; Steven McDonough. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 5, from 11 am until the funeral service at 2 pm at the Community of Christ Church in Mikado. Rev. Richard Karsen Sr. and Rev. Char McGuire will officiate.
