Teresa Kathleen Bernard

Teresa Kathleen Bernard, 48, of Mikado, MI, died in a home fire April 23, 2010. She was born in Burbank, CA, June 21, 1961 to Calvin & Emily (Elledge) McCoy Jr. . She married Dennis Paul Bernard April 5, 1998, and they moved to Mikado. Teresa was an avid bowler, a member of the Barton City Eagles Arie #4141 Auxiliary, and a member of the American Legion of Mikado Auxiliary. She enjoyed her work as a DNR Boat launch security guard. Teresa is survived by her mother,a daughter Michelle McMillian, and two sisters; Patricia (Kevin) Baldwin of Mikado and Jody Lynn Best of Arizona, eight grandchildren, and many neices and nephews. Her husband and two young daughters, Amanda and Teresa, died in the fire with her . A memorial for the Bernard Family was held May 4, 2010 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, MI, with Rev.
