Bernard P. Bellor, 80, of Barton City, died Saturday, May 22 at home. He was born May 7, 1930 in Fraser Township Michigan to Clem and Gertrude(Trombly) Bellor. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a long time resident of the Pinconning-Linwood Area moving to Barton City in 1974. He was employed as a self employed carpenter, had worked building ships. Bernie was a member of the Burger Wiedbrauk Post 8135 Veterans of Foreign Wars, where he was a past commander and the Barton City Eagles Aerie 4141. He is survived by his daughter; Pamela (Steven) Kirkpatrick of Kalamazoo, his son; Gary (Betty) Bellor of Standish, four grandchildren; Jeremy (Lisa) Bellor, Stacy (Chris) Bell, Cory (Misty) Shook and Kevin (Jessica) Shook and seven great grandchildren James, Ian, Alexis, Kainen, Marcus, Kaylee and Joel, two sisters; Florence Rifenbark of Linwood, and Mildred Pagnier of Leesburg Fl.,one brother; Elmer (Lorraine) Bellor of Linwood, and his dear companion Isabella Kerlin. He was preceded in death by his daughter Debra Carrier on February 10, 2010.
