Leo Sautter, 92 of Harrisville died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville. Born on July 1, 1914 to Henry and Martha (Lange) Sautter in Saginaw, he was raised there. On March 11, 1933 he married Enid MacNeill, they moved to the Lincoln and then to Harrisville in 1939. Leo was a heavy equipment operator with Wurtsmith Air Force Base for 25 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Colleen (Bob) Ziegler of Greenbush, Leah McKinnon of Saginaw and Lottie (Maurice)Draves of Bay City; three sons, Donald of Midland, Randall and Phillip(Kate) of Harrisville; twelve grandchildren, Carl Ziegler of Ft. Worth TX, Craig Ziegler of Oscoda, Shelley (Bernie) Galloway of Grand Rapids, Robert (Tania) Ziegler, of Brighton, George McKinnon of Chesaning, Hector (Karen) McKinnon of Chesaning, Shirley Riffe of Saginaw, Michael Draves of Bay City, Mark Draves of Bay City, Dawn (Steve)Wylie of St. Johns, Cindy (Dan)Staley of Plano, TX and Donny Sautter of Bay City. 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and two sisters; Irene MacNeill of Lincoln, and Gertrude Hausmann of Grand Rapids. Leo was preceded in death by his wife Enid on August 28, 2004 and a daughter in law, Mary Sautter. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at noon at Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado with Rev. Tim Steiner officiating. Burial was in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorial suggested to Calvary Baptist Church of Mikado.
