Raymond "Bud" Clarence Chase

Raymond C. “Bud” Chase, 82 of Harrisville passed away Friday, September 1, 2006 at his home. Born December 1, 1923 in Greenbush to Peter and Laura (Prater) Chase he resided in Harrisville most of his life. He married Violet Swartz on April 13, 1946, they farmed on their homestead in Harrisville most of their married life. Preceding him in death was a son Wayne on January 16, 1980 and a brother Denton on April 26, 2004 Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sharon Travis of Traverse City, Carol Laidlow of E. Tawas, Brenda Slater of Gaylord; two sons, Raymond of Harrisville and Gerald (Jamie) of Greenbush; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, at 2:00 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln with Rev. Tedd Galloway officiating. Burial was in Springport Cemetery in Harrisville.
