Gerald "Jerry" W. Moore

Gerald W. Moore, 74, passed away Wednesday April 21, 2010 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Born January 23, 1936 to Milton and Hazel (Somers) Moore in Harrisville, he was raised there. On October 13, 1956, he married Theresa Dault, and they were residents of Milford for 31 years before moving to Higgins Lake and then to Mio. Jerry was a member of United Methodist Church, Mio. He was an avid horseshoe player, and was a member of the Mio Moose, and the Sons of the American Legion, Luzerne. Jerry is survived by his wife; Theresa, two daughters; Mary (Fred) Ramirez of Wixom, and Melody (Lloyd) King of Lake Orion, one son; Martin Moore of Mesa, AZ, three grandchildren; Shaun Williams, Candy Downey, Alyssa Balan, one great granddaughter; Paige Williams, and one brother; Carl (Barb) Moore of Harrisville. Cremation arrangements are in care of Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
