Evelyn M. Burns

Evelyn M. Burns, 96, of Barton City, MI, Died Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Lincoln. She was born October 4, 1913 in Flint to Albert and Lucy (Hackett) Kohlmann. She married Earl Burns on March 13, 1934. They were long time Flint residents where Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Methodist Church of Flint. In 1987 they moved to Barton City. Her husband preceded her in death in 1992.Two brothers also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Robert) Haase of Hubbard lake and St. Augustine Fl, her son Ronald (Jan) Burns of Flushing, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010,11:30 A.M. at the Spruce Presbyterian Church. Private Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Barton City.
