James Eugene Coffey Jr

James Eugene Coffey, Jr, 85, of Haynes Township, died Tuesday, Jan 19, 2010 at Lincoln Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. He was born April 3, 1924 in Detroit to James & Margaret (Paine) Coffey, Sr. Mr. Coffey was raised in Dayton, OH and was a longtime resident there. He lived in Westland prior to moving to Lincoln 14 years ago. He enjoyed antiques and making stained glass lampshades. Mr. Coffey is survived by five sisters; Barbara Wade of Westland, Alice Rogers of Wayne, Shirley Sankovich of Rockwood, Beverly Spalding and Geraldine Bain, both of Canton. Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, handled the arrangements for Mr. Coffey’s cremation.
