Louise Dunn

Louise Dunn, 93, Rochester Hills, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Fenton. Born September 6, 1916 in Harrisville to Levi and Grace (Smith) Stockton, she was raised in Mikado. Louise married Donald Dunn on April 26, 1941. They lived in Flint, and then moved to Montrose where they farmed and then moved to Byron. Her husband preceded her in death on August 22, 1995. A homemaker and farmer, she was an avid quilter and loved fishing with her husband on the Two Hearted River in Northern Michigan. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Corfman of Flint and Penny Jansson of Rochester Hills, one son, Ronald (Joan) Dunn of Livonia, six grandchildren, Randy and Darrin Dunn, Denise Trantham, Julie Layman, and Jeffrey and Robert J. Vandemark, four great grandchildren, Jonathan Trantham, Jacob, Alexa and Shayanna Vandemark. A memorial service will be announced later. Her ashes will be interred in West lawn Cemetery, Harrisville, MI. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
