Sherrie June Siterlet

Sherrie June Siterlet, 81, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. She was born October 4, 1928 in Newark, Ohio to Carl and Mabel (Sawyer) Bourne and was raised in Ferndale. On January 31, 1948 she married Edward Siterlet. They were longtime Lake Orion residents, moving to Hubbard Lake in 1979. They owned and operated West Shore Tavern of Hubbard Lake from 1979 until 1983. Her husband preceded her in death on March 16, 2003. Two granddaughters and one great granddaughter also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter; Annette (Andrew) Huffman of Holly, two sons; David (Faith) Siterlet of Lake Orion, and Kris Siterlet of Waterford, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one brother Kay Thomas Bourne of Beverly Hills MI. Mrs. Siterlet is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where visitation will take place on Saturday, January 16, from 3 until 8 P.M... Funeral Services will be on Sunday, January 17 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spruce.
