Gertrude M. McDonough

Gertrude M. McDonough, 85, of Mikado, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born March 6, 1924, in Hillman, Michigan to James and Alice (Procunier) McGuire. On November 15, 1943, she married Clifford McDonough, and they were residents of Mikado. A dedicated homemaker, Gertrude loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband; Clifford, two daughters; Jane Miles of Mikado, and Beatrice Miles of Aurora MN, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a sister; Alice Harmon. She was preceded in death by her daughter; Norma Maulvena on July 20, 2002, her son; Steven McDonough on January 14, 2002 and several brothers and sisters. Cremation arrangements are in Care of Gillies Funeral home, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held at Mikado Cemetery in the spring, 2010.
