Ina Ruth Goddard

Ina Ruth Goddard, 75, of Mikado, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born February 23, 1934 to Fred and Myrtle (Morrow) Wright, in Standish, she was raised there. She moved to Tawas City and then to Oscoda in 1960, and to Spring Texas in 1972. Ruth was married to William Houston; he preceded her in death on December 2, 1982. On April 2, 1984, she married Lawrence Goddard, they resided in Mikado, and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2009. Ruth is survived by her daughter; Carol Henson, of Harrisville, her son; Dean (Denise) Kusey of Germantown, Wisconsin, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her twin brother; George (Helen) Wright of Holly MI, her sister; Carol Tucker of Eugene Oregon, and by her first husband; Tony Kusey of Tawas City. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald and Maynard Wright. There will be a memorial service Saturday December 26, 2009 at 2:00pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in East Tawas.
