Robert E. Tinsley

Robert E. Tinsley, 80, of Glennie, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at home. Born November 25, 1929 to Robert and Lula Mae (Howard) Tinsley, in Letitis, Kentucky, he was raised there. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After the war, he worked for Great Lakes Steel for 43 years, retiring to Glennie in 1995. Robert was a member of the Hale Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #4217, the American Legion Mikado Post #254, and of the National Rifle Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert is survived by his daughter; Pamela S. Tinsley Pentecost of Brownstown MI, and granddaughter; Michelle Lynn Pentecost of Flatrock, MI.
