Elsie A Hoult

Elsie Hoult, 98, of Hubbard Lake passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Grayling. Elsie Struble was born in Independence Township Michigan on December 30th 1919, to the late Frank and Alice (Grant) Struble. On May 8th, 1937 she married George C. Hoult. He preceded her in death in August 1986. Elsie was a longtime resident of Oakland County, moving to Hubbard Lake in 1966. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking, crochet, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her four children, Jack (Bonnie) of Gladstone, Ron (Joyce) of Ellsworth, George (Sue) of High Point NC, Mike “Dennis” (Janet) of Alpena, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hoult was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Thomas in August 2006, grandson Joe in 1989, two brothers and her sister. Mrs. Hoult is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM.
