Carla Mayer

Carla L. Mayer, 62, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. Born July 18, 1955 to James and Mary (Auguliaro) in Canada, she was longtime resident of Plymouth, MI. She was a resident of Westland, and Au Gres, before moving to Standish. Carla loved the water and enjoyed walks on the beach. She was fond of lighthouses and collected miniatures and other things related to them. She had a passion for cooking and trying new recipes. She also enjoyed birdwatching, photography, reading, crossword puzzles, and games such as Scrabble. She was an animal lover and had several dogs over the years. Carla is survived by her stepson Jeff, his wife Carolyn, and their son Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Mayer and her parents. No services are planned at this time.
