James D. Martin

James D. Martin,46,of Hubbard Lake, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at home. He was born June 29, 1963 in Jackson, Michigan. James was raised in Hubbard Lake. He graduated from Alpena High School and received his associates degree from Alpena Community College. On September 7, 1988 he married Kristi Krentz. They resided in Hubbard Lake. He was employed by Besser's of Alpena over 20 years and had been a carpenter with Krentz Construction. He loved to hunt and fish. James is survived by his wife and two daughters, Kimberly Martin and Carly Martin of Hubbard Lake; a son, Cody Martin of Hubbard Lake;his mother; Dorothy Martin of Hubbard Lake, his father David and Stepmother Lynn Martin of Bay City;one sister,Brenda and one brother Randy. A memorial service will be held at New Life Lutheran Church,Spruce, on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 2:00 P.M.. Rev. Douglas McCormick will officiate.
