Margarete Duckett

Margarete H. Duckett, 79, of Spruce, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her home. She was born December 28, 1929 to Arnold and Margarete (Desterling) Scholz in Berlin, Germany where she was raised. On May 31, 1954 Margarete married Ralph Schram in Berlin. Moving to the U.S. they were Lincoln residents from 1955 moving to Spruce in 1960. Ralph preceded her in death on July 5, 1985. On July 21, 1993 she married Paul Duckett. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1996. Her half brother, Gerhardt also preceded her in death. Margarete was a member of the New Life Lutheran Church of Spruce. She worked for many years at the South Shore Inn in Spruce. She was also a member of the Ossineke Eagles Auxiliary. She is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral at 1 P.M. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
