Everett. M. Schram,80,Lincoln,died Wednesday,October 21, 2009 at Lincoln Haven Health Care and Rehab Community. Born Feb.5, 1929 in Lincoln to Earl and Theresa (Burge) Schram, Everett was a lifelong resident. He married Violet Jean Valade on July 2, 1949. She preceded him in death June 14, 1990. He worked for the Alcona County Road Commission for 44 years as a driver,supervisor and was a road commissioner for four years. He was an avid baseball fan, a player until 1966 and served as a pee wee coach for 31 years and was active in the Alcona Little League. He was a former Alcona County Deputy Sherrif and a liquor inspector for Hawes Township for 55 years. Everett Was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln. He is survived by two daughters, Dianne (Randy) Tudor of Lincoln and Julie Smith of Harrisville, One son, Larry Schram of Muskegon,six grandchildren,seven great grandchildren,one sister, Ruth(Stanley deceased) Mallory of Harrisville and two brothers, Hazen(Barbara) Schram of Lincoln and LeRoy(Denise) Schram of TN., and his dear friend Sharon Ginder. One sister, Bernice Graham and three brothers,Lloyd Scharam, Earl Schram Jr and Virgil Schram preceded and one grandson preceded him in death. Friends may call at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, from 6-9 Thursday and 2-9 Friday. Visitation continues Saturday from 1 P.M. until the funeral at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Lincoln. The Dr. Arie Van Brenk will officiate. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Everett M.
