Selma Boyd

Selma Boyd, 87, of Mikado died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Jamieson Nursing Home, Harrisville. Selma was born January 19, 1922 in Pontiac to Ila and Stella (Harris) Gates. She was a factory worker, later moving to Mikado and she owned Greenbush Tavern, which she operated throughout the1970s. Selma was preceded in death by her son Gary Thouin on June 20, 1956. She is survived by her brother Ossie Gates of Okeechobie, Florida and nieces, nephews and cousins. Private funeral services will be held at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
