Kenneth James Harris

Kenneth J. Harris, 60, of Harrisville, died on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at his home. Born August 11, 1949, to Kenneth Arnold and Vivian (Ranger) Harris, in Flint, MI, he was raised there. Kenny worked as a Truck Driver, and as an auto mechanic, before settling in the Harrisville/Greenbush area in 1993. He was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. With quite the collection of movies, Kenny could often be found watching one of them when he was not outdoors. Kenny is survived by three daughters; several grandchildren; his mother; Vivian Harris of Flushing, one sister; Linda (Rob) Waltman of Moline Ill, two brothers; Randy Harris of Oxford MI, and Jeffrey (Kim) Harris of Greenbush, as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service for Kenny on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 2:00pm, at Gillies Funeral Home, in Harrisville MI. Visitation will take place beginning at 1:00 pm.
