RUTH INGRAM Lost Lake Woods, Lincoln/Troy, Michigan Ruth was born in Sebewaing, Michigan May 12th 1916, the first of five children, to the Reverend William and Amalia Weinlander. Her father was a Lutheran Pastor at a church about 15 miles south of Alpena in Ossineke, Michigan. Ruth worked for Chrysler’s defense operations in Detroit during WW2 and continued working for Chrysler after the war until she met her husband Seth Ingram in the late 40’s. Their only child, Tom, was born in 1951. Ruth and Seth lived in Grosse Pte. Woods, MI, Long Beach, IN, and ended up retiring at Lost Lake Woods in 1968. Ruth has been a member of LLWC for over 60 years. She also belonged to Spruce Lutheran Church for many years.. She was blessed with a wonderfully long and happy life. After her husband Seth passed in the mid 90’s she met Dave Bonner, and the two of them had a wonderful time together for the next 16 years as they traveled together in the US and in Europe. Ruth would tell you she was truly blessed by God, and she would be correct! After a short illness Ruth transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 28th 2017. She is survived by her son Tom (Karen) Ingram, three grandchildren, Seth (Brandi) Ingram, Leah (Matt) Blinstrub and Jordan (Sarah) Ingram and seven great-grandchildren- Seth C. Ingram, Benjamin Ingram, Ryan Ingram, William Blinstrub, Carolyn Blinstrub, Rosalie Blinstrub and Zander Ingram.
