Randy Albert Mongeau, 59, of Mikado, MI passed away peacefully Saturday, June 17, 2017. Born April 22, 1958 in Pontiac, he was the son of the late Freddie David and Maye Collins Mongeau and was the husband of Denise Morris Mongeau. Randy was the owner and operator of RTC Tool and Die Company in Greenbush for over twenty-five years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and golfing with his family and close friends. Above all else, though, Randy's family was the most important thing in his life. He loved and cared for Denise, the love of his life, with a calm, quiet perserverance since they met in 1977. Along with Denise, his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy; his entire reason for being. There were not many things, if any at all, that Randy would not do for his family, adopted family, or his friends. He will be remembered as a gentle man with a contagious laugh and an open hand and heart for those he loved. In addition to his wife of over thirty-eight years, Randy is survived by his children, Daryl (Blythe) Mongeau and Shayna Mongeau (Brian) Engelhard; his grandchildren, Tyler, Emilee, Dylan, Carson, Lacey, Addison, and Ethan; brothers-in-law, Dennis Morris and Eugene (Ann) Morris; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends too numerous to mention that will miss him dearly. He joins his brothers, Gary and Tom, in Heaven along with his parents, Fred and Maye. A celebration of Randy's life will take place on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation for one hour prior at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. In accordance with his wishes, and in keeping with his "no-frills" style, the family asks that you please come dressed very casually and comfortably to join them.
