Charles W. Miller

Charles (Chuck) William Miller passed away in Lincoln, MI on June 2, 2017 at the age of 90. Chuck is predeceased by his son, Richard C. Miller, his parents, Charles and Anna Miller, siblings Leon (Doris) and Shirley (Clarence) Gilpin. He is survived by Kathleen (Cass) Miller his loving wife of 68 years. Chuck is lovingly remembered by his children, James (Breeda), Joan (Greg) Orlick, Janet (Bill) King, Bill (Ronnie), John (Debbie), and daughter-in-law, Debbie . He was a loving grandfather of 12 and 7 great-grandchildren. Chuck was born in Detroit, MI on September 23, 1926 and grew up in Ecorse, MI. He played semi-pro baseball and football after high school and was an avid hunter throughout his life. After working for 41 years at Great Lakes Steel, Chuck retired and moved with Cass to Harrisville in northern Michigan where they enjoyed their retirement together for over thirty years. A Memorial Mass will be held on June 17, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 110 S. State Street (US23) Harrisville, MI.
