Larry G. Beloskur, 67, of Mikado passed away August 31, 2009 at his home. Born September 17, 1941, to Carl and Susie (McDonald) Beloskur in Harrisville, he spent his childhood years here, before moving to Detroit, where he worked as a machine operator for Chrysler, before retiring to Mikado. Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, and build campfires. The enjoyed tinkering on tractors, and keeping up his lawn. He is survived by two daughters; Dawn (Larry) Johnson of Harrisville, and Denise Beloskur of Harrisville, one son; Rodney Beloskur of Alpena, four grandchildren; Misty Campbell, Jeremy Campbell, Ashley Provenzola, and Morgan Johnson, 5 great grandchildren, one sister; Ramona (James) Holsworth of Spruce, one brother; Kenneth Beloskur of Harrisville, three nieces and one nephew. Cremation arrangements made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the Old Stone Church, in Haynes Township at 2:00 pm. Rev. Claire Duncan will officiate.
