Edna Leona Noyes

Edna Leona Noyes, 96, of Petoskey formerly of Harrisville, died Thursday Sept. 3 2009 at home. Born April 25, 1913 to Frederick and Esther (Sabina) Becker in Killmaster, she was raised there. In May of 1933, she married Thomas Abe Noyes. They were residents of Detroit until the late 1960s, when they retired to the old Homestead in Harrisville. A devoted homemaker, Mrs. Noyes loved her family, and took great care of her children. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. She is survived by one daughter, Lillian Dunshee and three sons, Thomas, Donald and Harold and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 23, 2003. Friends may call from 2 P.M. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Calvary Baptist Church until the funeral at 3:00 P.M. Rev. Tim Steiner will officiate. Burial will be in Springport Cemetery.
