Gregory L. Indish, 61, of Spruce, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born July 23, 1955, to Leonard and Helen (McGregor) Indish in Highland Park, MI, he was raised in Auburn Heights. In 1978 he moved to Hubbard Lake, and later moved to Spruce. Greg worked at and eventually owned and operated L & A Centerless Grinding, where he was known for his attention to detail. He was a philosophical man, who loved reading, and enjoyed a good debate. He was a gifted athlete, who loved coaching softball, and enjoyed working in his garden. Greg is survived by his mother, Helen Indish, four children, Matthew Indish; Heather (Jon) Nardi; Nicholas Indish; and Krysta Indish, three grandchildren, Zachry Indish; Taryn Indish; and Vincent Nardi, one sister, Linda McNeill, two nieces, Stephanie and Alyssa McNeill, two great nieces, Kiera Beland, and Aurora McNeill, two great nephews, Charlie Brown, and Jackson McNeill, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Indish in 2004. There will be a memorial visitation on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
