Jeanette K. Tudor, 78, of Mikado, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena. Born December 28, 1938 to Charles and Francis (Steadman) Schellenberg in Wyandotte, MI, she was raised there. On September 11, 1954, she married Charles R. Tudor in Wyandotte. They were residents of the Down River area, until moving to Mikado in 1970. Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved taking care of her family. She shared that love with numerous children through her work with the Head Start Program in Lincoln. Jeanette was a talented artist, who loved painting. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting, as well as a good game of BINGO. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Tudor, seven children, Charles (Kerry) Tudor of Oscoda; Randy (Dianne) Tudor of Lincoln; Dawn Tudor of Oscoda; Matt (Ali) Tudor of Chelsea; Thomas (Brandy) Tudor of Spruce; Elvis (Lisa) Tudor of Tawas City; and Misty (Rick) Munir of Brighton, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Tudor is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Tuesday, February 14, from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 4:00 PM. Dr. Rev. Arie Van Brenk will officiate. A meal at the Mikado Civic Center will follow the service.
