Bruce L. Frappier, 80, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Maple Grove Adult Foster Care in Barton City. Bruce was born April 28, 1936 in Flint, MI to the late Era and Donnah (Dean) Frappier. He graduated from Clio High School. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Bruce retired in 1987 from General Motors Buick Motor Division as a Quality Liaison, and previously worked as a General Supervisor in the Foundry. Bruce was very active in Alcona County. He became a Mason in 1960 at the Vienna Lodge # 205 F. & A.M. in Clio, where he was a member until transferring to the Alcona Lodge #292 F. & A.M. He was very active in Habitat for Humanity of Alcona County. Bruce enjoyed the out of doors, especially hunting, and was an avid sports fan. Bruce is survived by the mother of his children, Janet Frappier, one daughter, Christine (Donald) VonFintel of Estero, FL, two sons, Brian (Doreen) Frappier of Columbia MO, and Kyle Frappier of Grosse Ile, MI, five grandchildren, Chelsea (James Wood) VonFintel; and Aaron; Ryan; Matt; and Allison Frappier, his sister, Audrey Laue, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Ostrander; Barbara Frappier; and Beverly Bigelow and one brother, Dale Frappier. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Alcona Masonic Lodge #292 in Lincoln at 11:00 A.M.
