Ida Marion Hansen, 90, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Maple Grove Adult Foster Care in Barton City. Born December 18, 1925 to Ernest and Olive (Slacker) Apsey in Lincoln, she was a lifelong resident of the area. As a young woman, Marion began working at the Lincoln Pharmacy, where she worked for 48 years. On June 14, 1952, she married Henry Hansen in Harrisville. They owned Hemlock Haven Hunting Club in Spruce, and enjoyed keeping it up, and preparing for the next hunt. She was an active member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church, and was celebrated as one of the oldest members. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Gordon (Dorothy) Hansen of Alpena, her sister-in-law, Carol Hansen of Spruce, as well as seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry on September 6, 2009, and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Hansen; Alfred Hansen; Thomas Gilbertson and Ted DeMay, and her sisters-in-law, Norma Gilbertson; Alice Hansen; Margaret Weinschenk; and Signe DeMay. Mrs. Hansen is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Thursday, November 17, from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 18, at the Lincoln United Methodist Church from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Mary Soderholm will officiate. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
