Bernice Lynn Freeland

Bernice Lynn Freeland,49,Harrisville, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at home, after a long battle with cancer. Born August 21, 1959 in East Detroit to Valent and Shirley (Bushey) Tibor, she was raised in Ferndale and Ossineke,later moving to Harrisville. Bernice loved Animals, and the outdoors along with her many friends and also enjoyed poetry and cooking. Survivors include her two daughters, Angela(Tom Mccormick) Freeland of Pennyan NY. and Jessica Freeland of Harrisville, one son, Joseph Freeland of Pennyan NY, her mother, Shirley Tibor of Ossineke, one grandson, Seth McCormick of Pennyan NY,her fiance Phillip Lucaroni of Harrisville,two sisters, Denise and Annette Tibor both of Ossineke, and several Aunts,Uncles,Nieces, Nephews and cousins as well as her two cats Mr. Foo and Zoe. Bernice was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Leo and Bernice Bushey and Sophia and Andrew Tibor. Cremation arrangements have been made. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Her family will begin receiving visitors at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Her ashes will be interred at St. Catherine Cemetery at Nicholson Hill, Ossineke.
