RB Clark, 80, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, as a result of complications of pulmonary fibrosis. Born March 21, 1936 to Gerald and Amerette (Anderson) Clark in Harrisville, he was a lifelong resident of Alcona County. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959, and was stationed in Germany. On March 26, 1960, he married Sonja Somers in Harrisville. They were residents of Killmaster before moving to Lincoln. RB learned to service televisions at Steadman Brothers, before opening up his own business, Clark’s T.V. Sales and Service. He bowled for many years, and liked to play golf. He was a member of the Barton City Eagles Aerie 4141, and of the Lincoln United Methodist Church. RB enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, trips to the casino, and winters in North Fort Myers, Florida. First and foremost he enjoyed spending time with his family. RB is survived by his wife Sonja, two daughters, Lori (Skip) Wilkins of Oscoda, and Kim (Jim) Quick of Harrisville, one son, Kevin (Amy) Clark of Evansville IN, six grandchildren, Keith (Jessica Daroczy) Van Hurk of Colorado Springs; CO, Kim (Luke) Laube of Lincoln; Kasey (Jimmy Effrick) Quick of Black River; LJ (Pashan) Quick of Spruce; Lindsey (Nate) Schmitt; and Adam Clark of Evansville IN, two great granddaughters, Taylor Laube and Oaklynn Quick, one sister, Tami (Ron) Gallagher of Clawson, MI, one brother, Garnet (Terry) Clark of Rockledge, FL, sister-in-law, Diane (Ray) Daggett, brother-in-law Dennis Somers, very dear friends, Larry and Jan Neil of Barton City, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Princess. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law Milton and Annabel Somers, one sister, Geraldine Johnson, and sister-in-law Joyce Somers. Mr. Clark is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Wednesday, September 28, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM, and will continue on Thursday, September 29, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Mary Soderholm will officiate. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorial donations suggested to the Lincoln United Methodist Church.
