Stephen Malcevich, 84, of Glennie, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1921, in Farrell PA, to Zacko and Anna (Lucich) Malcevich. He was married to Sophie (Todorich) Malcevich, who preceded him in death on September 8, 2003. Stephen was a long time resident of Detroit. He served in the US Army during World War II, in Patton’s 3rd Army, as a forward observer. He worked for General Motors in Detroit for 30 years. He retired in October 1980, and moved to Glennie. He is survived by two daughters; Linda Tadych of Warren MI, Stephanie (Wade) Ranger of Anchorage AK, one son; Dean (Marlene) Furey of Brownstown MI, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister; Violet Kanakis of Las Vegas, NV. Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 17, at Gillies Funeral Home, in Lincoln. Rev. Laraine Sundin officiated. Memorials suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
