Walter J. Buczek Sr. 92, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, April 10, 2006 at his home. On February 28, 1914 he was born to John and Katherine (Pueofaly) Buczek in Poland. As a lifetime resident of Lincoln he helped build the original golf course in Lost Lake Woods Club where he was a member and greens keeper for 40 years. Walter was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, he enjoyed hunting, trapping and also farmed. Preceding him in death were his sisters, Jessie Pluta and Helen Inda and a brother, Casmir. He is survived by two sons; Walter Jr. (Patricia) of Lennon, and William (Carol) of Flint, 6 grandchildren; Jennie, Debra, Tammy, Cheryl, Martin, and Scott, 6 great grandchildren; Jason, Eva, Amy, Amber, Cody, and Johnathon, one great great grandson, Dylan, and a sister; Josephine Slater, of Lincoln. Mr. Buczek is at the Gillies Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 12, from 4 until 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, at 2pm, at the funeral. Rev.
