Wallace "Wally" Ross Leech

Wallace "Wally" Leech,72,Greenbush, died June 25, 2009 at home. He was born October 26, 1936 in Detroit. He served in the US Marines and was married to Betty Cantrell on November 2, 1957. He retired from AT&T in 1992 where he had been employed as a technician. He moved to Greenbush from Richmond MI in 1990. Survivors include his wife and one daughter, Donna (Jim) Thomason of Sparks NV, one son John(Lisa) of Chesterfield Twp., three grandchildren, John and Megan Leech and Alex Hagemeister,one sister Sherry Dyer of Cadillac and numerous nieces and nephews,and special friends Ron and Peg Dawson, and Tony and Chris Gerbino all of Greenbush. His sister Marjorie Jurcak and his brother Robert preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3 at the Oscoda Baptist Church at 1 P.M.. Memorials may be directed to the church. His ashes will be iterred in Springpo0rt Cemetery,Harrisville.
