Janet L. Ballor, 79, of Mikado passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Lake View Manor in Tawas City. She was born June 12, 1937, in Marine City, MI to William and Mary (Chrzanowski) Mucha. On October 14, 1957, she married Edward Ballor in Memphis, MI. They moved to Oscoda and later moved to Mikado. Mrs. Ballor was employed by Rolled Product Industries of Oscoda for 27 years, was a devoted homemaker and loved gardening and embroidery. She is survived by four daughters, Sandra (Les) Kidney of Glennie, Anna (Robert) Jerlecki of Croswell, Susan (Jeffery) Bolsby of Mikado and Audrey (Tony) Sowiecki of Mikado, five grandchildren, Lisa Marie Mitchell, Amanda Cashman, Sarah and Brian Bolsby and Andrea Jerlecki, one great granddaughter, Abigail Cashman, one sister, Shirley Miller of Bellevue, Ohio, one stepdaughter, Linda (Jerry) Chambers of Yale and one stepson, Robert (Fran) Ballor of Peck, several step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren and two step daughters in law, Teresa and Pam Ballor. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 24, 2005, one grandson, Bradley Bolsby, five sisters, Virginia Pelc, Leona Smith, Rita Rodzos, Delphine Klotzhuber and Sylvia Dixon, three brothers, Edward, George and Melvin Mucha, one step daughter,Cindy Ballor,two step sons, Donald and Edward Jr Ballor and her beloved pet, Sabrina. No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
