William F Jones

William F. Jones, 76, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in Harrisville. He was born on December 6, 1939, to Henry and Sara “Loretta” (Landman) Dorfleim in East Detroit. William served in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was involved with “Pickin for People”. He married Judith (Carr). Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Judith, his brother, Jack (Ruth) Jones, two nephews, Jack and Eric Jones, and one niece, Shirley Turner. Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Huron Shores Fellowship 3558 M 32 W Alpena, MI. A visitation with the family will start at 10 A.M. and the service will begin at 11 A.M. Pastor Jack Williams will officiate. Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
