Leon L. Bielusiak, 82, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at his home. He was born June 20, 1934, to Joseph and Katherine (Czajka) Bielusiak in Haynes Township, MI. Leon served in the Army and married Zeneta Wawrzyniak on May 30, 1959 in Detroit. They were longtime residents of Eastpointe, MI, and maintained a summer home in Haynes Twp. He worked as an inspector for Ford Motor Company in Detroit before retiring after 38 years. In 2001, he moved back to Haynes and was an avid builder, antique collector, furniture restorer, and outdoorsman. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council 4235 and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. He is survived by his wife, Zeneta, one son, Brian Joseph (Mary Ann) Bielusiak of Southgate, one daughter, Laura Ann (Kevin) Webb of Holly, four grandchildren, Allison and Megan Bielusiak and Rachel and Russell Webb, three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Bielusiak of Haynes, and one sister, Rose Kazmierczak of Haynes. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Stephen Bielusiak, and three sisters, Mary Webber, Josephine Lentz, and Helen Hunter. Friends may call on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. Rev. Robert Bissot will officiate. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Michigan or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
