Tom Robbins

Tom Robbins, 58, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Alpena. Born January 26, 1958 to Fred and Lillian Robbins in Alpena, he was a lifelong resident of Hubbard Lake. On July 6, 1985, he married Shelia Mahalak, and they enjoyed travelling across the United States. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with his family on the farm. He is survived by his wife, Shelia, four children, Hope Ann (Ed Ludwig) Harmon; Casie (Randy Laube) Harmon; Tara (Donny Wilson) Robbins; and Luke (Chesney Crevier) Robbins, eleven grandchildren, Jenna; Kayla; Torie; Caitlin; Samantha; Austin; Peyton; Kaydence; Jake; Kayla; and Alyssa, one great grandson, Landen, and his father and mother-in-law, Luke and Rose Mahalak. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hubbard Lake Bible Church, with a luncheon to follow at the family farm. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tom's family.
