Diana L. Orban

Diana L. Orban, 48, of Black River, passed away May 19, 2016. Born June 23, 1967 to Edward and Elaine (LeClair) Schmidt in Alpena, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. Diana enjoyed fishing and camping, as well as working on crafts. She loved bump and runs, and working on the cars. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Morang (Edward Mathis) of Harrisville, her son, Eric Morang of Barton City, four grandchildren, her father, Edward Schmidt of Mikado, two sisters, Annette Lee and Antoinette Schmidt, and two brothers, Paul Martindale and Joe Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Killen on May 21, 2009, and by her mother. There will be a memorial service Monday, June 13, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
