Patricia E. Herbin

Patricia E. Herbin, 39, of Spruce, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena. Born December 19, 1976 to Rufus and Theresa (Santino) Compton in Alpena, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Alpena. Trisha enjoyed painting ceramics, and learning to crochet. She has courageously been fighting this battle with cancer since 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Cheyenne Smith, her son, Kevin Herbin, her father, Rufus Compton, two sisters, Peggy (Rod Budreau) Compton; and Debbie Reames, three brothers, Bobby (Tania) Compton; Allen Compton; and Doug (Nikole) Compton, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2007, her brother in law, Pat Reames in 2015, and by her uncle, Tom Compton. Ms. Herbin is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Wednesday, May 18 from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM.
