Gary J. Good, 70, of Mikado, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Saginaw St. Mary’s Hospital. Born July 5, 1945 to Mark B. Thellis (Streeter) Good in Harrisville, MI, he was raised there. He graduated from Alcona High School in 1962. On June 26, 1964, he married Joyce Cushion in Flint. They were longtime residents of New Lothrop, MI. Gary worked for General Motors, retiring in 1999, after 38 years and moving to Mikado. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, especially on his tractor, working on his farm and garden. He was an avid hunter and card player, and was a Detroit Tigers fan. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, three daughters, Lisa (Ricky) Frazier; Linda Good; and Kelly (Todd) Good Clark, one son; Ryan Good, six grandchildren, Allen (Kristen) Wendling; Alex (Brooke) Wendling; Nicholas Campbell; Kayla Hardesty; Hollie (Luke) Wheeler; and Rhiannon Clark, four great grandchildren, Lexie and Landon Wendling; Mila Hardesty; and Ezekiel Wheeler, one sister, Gladys (Gene) Gill, and two brothers Scotty (Cathy) Good and Mark Good. Mr. Good is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, May 15, from 3:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alcona Humane Society.
